I got a B in macro. (She CAN be taught!)
Today is painting and hanging out, tomorrow is trial run dog sitting with Misha and my first day of coffee nerd training. Luckily, I have been in training for this since I was 11 and my dad bought me my very own first espresso machine.
(and you all wondered why I have that twitch) I need to find a birthday present for my mum for Thursday. Any suggestions?
Also, still trying to pick a grad school, and wondering how to gauge a community I have never been to. I can't really afford the plane tix to visit, and my car has 100,000plus miles on it. I also don't know how many days in a row I can take off work and lie about. I'm thinking about Amtrak.

I had a fabulous 24 hours seeing friends followed by the making of a key and the selecting of paint colours for my old room! It was a huge relief to see people who have such a place in my heart, and there will be more of it tomorrow!
-- Now I am deeply ensconced in graduate school applications which is making me twitchy.-- The following may be boring for you.
First Due date is Jan 15th.
American University- Submitted and paid, need transcripts and recommendations (on OU letterhead, signed and sealed)
Syracuse University- just need transcripts-2 copies with cover sheet.
Indiana University- Done
Denver University- They only take mailed resumes and personal statements, so I need letters of rec plus transcripts. And their website is not taking my credit card info so I might just fill out the paper app.
Columbia-well...haven't decided if I want to go here, or if I want to pay that much for it.
Monterey Institute- need recommendations and transcripts
The moral of the story is, getting things printed, signed, and sealed if you are not living near your alma mater is a huge pain. Especially around the holidays.
